As the nights draw in we want to make sure as many cyclists as possible stay visible around Bristol. As part of the Active Travel Communities, Bristol City Council have partly funded three sewing workshops specifically designed for cyclists. In these sewing sessions you will be given reflective Hi-Vis tape to add to your clothing so that you become much more visible to road users when cycling at dawn, dusk, and night.
You will also be able to bring along any cycling gear that requires repairing or altering and we will help you fix it up. These workshops have a pay-what-you-can pricing structure (see below for more details).
What will be included:
Threading up and using a sewing machine
Hi-Vis and reflective patches for adding to clothing
Haberdashery for repairing and altering clothing
What to bring:
Clothing you would like to make more visible for cycling in.
When: We will be running three sessions on the following dates; please choose a slot that suits you from the drop-down menu. They are:
Monday 28th September 5pm-7pm, Tuesday 29th September 1pm - 3pm, Wednesday 30th September 10am-12pm
Where: Made My Wardrobe Studio, 27 Portland Square, Bristol, BS2 8SA
