The Freya Swimsuit is a flattering low back swimsuit with full bust support and coverage. You can either make it with a triangular cut out at the front or as a complete one piece. The adjustable straps make it easy to fit on a variety of body shapes. We recommend making this swimsuit from stretch nylon.

The Freya Swimsuit is available in UK sizes 6 - 24.

Gather your supplies…

Maximum fabric needed - 1m for size 6-10, 1.25m for size 12-16, 1.45m for size 18-24 assuming you are making the lining and the self from the same fabric. If you are using different fabrics you will need the same amount of each.

Maximum fold over elastic needed - 1m for UK Sizes 6-24

Maximum rubber elastic needed - 4m for UK Sizes 6-16, 5m for UK Sizes 18-24

2 x 1.5-3cm wide metal ring

Medium weight stretch nylon with stretch in both directions is ideal for this pattern.
