How to make a scrap fabric patchwork

Hi lovely ones,

Years ago my mother taught me how to make patchworks with my scrap fabrics and today, I want to teach you. This is an easy and quick introduction to patchwork, that’ll use up all your scraps. The final cushion makes a brilliant gift for loved ones or simply to decorate your home.

We’re going to be making 16x16 patchwork squares that can be used in lovely wall hangings, quilts, cushions and in many more ways. There is no wrong design with these and it’s whatever makes sense to you. Here are some of design inspirations:
